Languages. Travel. Me.
I went back and forth on what to call this section, because I thought it sounded too vague to call it “Life.” Life is summed up by everything, and everyone’s life is different, so how can that be different from the other sections? But then I thought about how quiet I am as person, being an introvert, and that people don’t know me well, and yet I crave connection with people in their lives. I thought about languages and travelling to see cultures and experience firsthand what people are like when they’re at home, all while remaining just a face in the crowd. I thought about how life isn’t just “everything,” but a specific “everything” that’s unique to everyone, and how we perceive our “everything” shapes and defines our lives. So after deliberating with myself and trying to come up with something else, I finally caved, and here we are. I want to bring as much of my “everything” to you as possible in hopes that maybe that knowledge and those experiences will expand your horizons… and your “everything” with it.
Within this part of the blog you’ll find an assortment of knowledge in languages (although specifically English and Russian) as I learn them, as well as travel tips, photos, itineraries, and notes from my own experiences as a wannabe globetrotter.
